# Tags

Tags are created for organization and ease of access. Tags are assigned to **Documents** and **Forms** adding a layer of categorization to different groups of forms or documents. Good examples of this use case would be a "S.O.G." tag assigned to any document uploaded to the platform that is a standard operating guideline or a "Check Out" tag assigned to forms created to check out operational equipment.
