Submitting an Incident

Submitting an Incident

Step 1: select the "submit" tab from the left side menu.

  • Question 1: Who Responded? Select a responding location or unit

The first question is asking who responded, this is who is going to the call (usually yourself or possibly another unit). You can also skip this step using the skip button below. **Setting your daily assignment **as shown in the following section will allow the platform to assume your unit as responder when submitting. This can be changes later at the final submit screen.

  • Setting Daily Assignment

Simply click the "Responding:" button found at the top right of the page to set.

Complete the selections from the drop down lists provided. The responder will be your name as shown in the agency personnel tab, and the assignment will be your unit or location name.

⚠️ Don't forget to hit the save button!

Step 2: Select the Incident Category

After saving your daily assignment or answering the who responded question, the next choice is what call type we are submitting as shown below.

We are going to enter a dog warning for this exercise. First box we select is Enforcement.

Selecting Warning

Step 3: Where did it happen?

Selecting Dog brings us to our location question asking where the incident happened. Choose from your pre-set locations/towers or skip the question at the bottom. I am selecting Tower 9 for this incident location.

If I've set my assignment as discussed above and that assignment is a location, this step will be skipped and assumed to be the location you're assigned to. This can also be changed at the final submit screen.

Step 4: Final Incident Submission Screen

After selecting your location we are brought to the final information submit screen where you can enter additional notes. Don't forget to submit!

  • Edit any details on the final Submit screen for the Enforcement
  • Add or edit responders / units
  • Add Relevant notes to the submission
  • upload images from your device
  • Attach suggested or required forms
