# Adding Personnel

| 💡 Adding new personnel to your Watchtower roster or setting up a login for an existing user can all be done via the Agency Tab.

| ℹ️ Users can be added to the roster without a login. This is great for when you want to reference a person on an incident but not invite them to login.

**On this page you can edit:**
* Image upload
* Name
* E-mail (when added to the platform as a user)
* Phone number (does not require user invite)
* Custom Meta Data (details / notes)
* Assign role permissions
* Groups (all groups the user may be associated with).
* Filter by Display Group (will restrict what the user sees within the platform. Useful for large agencies with multiple geographic locations / independent departments)
* Hide from Pulse (will remove the user from pulse display screens)
* toggle Active/Archived users / personnel
